The People Behind the Resources
Every tool on the APA Marketplace was built by an advocate, a survivor-leader, or an organization living the work. Creator Spotlights honor the experience, expertise, and conviction behind the resources — and invite you to discover the people whose wisdom shapes the field.
Leading What We Know Matters
For decades, the wisdom that strengthens this field has lived inside individual advocates, organizations, and survivor-leaders — passed quietly from one person to the next, often without recognition or compensation.
The tools that work best are usually the ones built by people who have sat with survivors, navigated complex systems, and figured things out in real time. That knowledge belongs in more hands.
Creator Spotlights exist to lift up the people doing this work — to honor what they've built, share why it matters, and connect their resources with advocates who need them.
When we lead with what we already know — and when we share that knowledge generously — the whole field grows stronger.
Celebrating Different Ways of Knowing
Expertise in this field shows up in many forms. The APA Marketplace welcomes resources shaped by all of them.

Find Resources. Support the Advocates Who Built Them.
Every spotlight is also an invitation. When you read a creator's story and explore their resources, you're not just finding tools that ease your work — you're sustaining the advocates, survivor-leaders, and organizations whose wisdom this field depends on.
That's how a communal economy works: advocates supporting advocates, resource by resource.
